How can I choose a board game for a family gathering near Webster Groves?

Think about player numbers, ages and the kind of experience the group enjoys. Ask a retailer about the actual game format rather than judging only the box or theme. A long competitive game and a short cooperative activity can suit very different gatherings.

Which details are worth checking?

Use these points to prepare your questions and compare the options relevant to you:

• Player numbers
• Age range
• Play style

What should you confirm before deciding?

Choose around the actual task and your practical needs. Compare the complete arrangement, including anything that must be booked or paid for separately. A clear written confirmation is more useful than assuming a representative photograph includes every feature shown.
