What should I ask before buying a game as a gift?

Check player range, expected session format and whether reading or other requirements affect participation. Ask about demonstrations and gift returns where offered. Confirm the exact edition and contents instead of assuming different versions with a similar title play identically.

Which details are worth checking?

Use these points to prepare your questions and compare the options relevant to you:

• Edition
• Participation
• Gift returns

What should you confirm before deciding?

Give the provider the information needed for your particular request and ask questions about anything uncertain. Confirm what happens next, including any further assessment. Keep the accepted scope and terms rather than assuming an unanswered message has reserved the service.
